As a Software Developer Lead within PNC's Quality Engineering organization, you will be based in one of our Technology Hub locations (Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL, Cleveland, OH, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX). Weekly in office time is required.

As a Performance Test Lead at PNC, you will collaborate with teams to understand non-functional/performance requirements, build and execute performance test scripts that allow for simulation of Production-like user activity, and report your findings to stakeholders. As a lead, you will coach other performance testers on the aforementioned activities and promote a culture of continuous improvement. LoadRunner, Jmeter, Dynatrace and Selenium are some of the tools you will use.

Requirements

  • Experience talented software engineers
  • Performance testing/engineering hands on experience
  • Experience with OpenText (HP) Load Runner/Performance Center and JMeter
  • Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics or others
  • Advanced knowledge of performance engineering principles and practices
  • Solid communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in Software Development field
  • Software Engineering with languages like Golang, Python, Java or JavaScript
  • Self-motivated, willing to take initiative, capable of simultaneously working on multiple assignments, team-player, able to adapt and apply new technologies when needed.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Improvement & Agile/DevOps Best Practices
  • Experience with Container Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift

  • Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
