We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist whose energy and drive will help us hire first class talent for the organization.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the business to deliver the best talent. This key role will nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage relationships with internal stakeholders. The Talent Acquisition team is a true contributor to the growth of the company, and we provide the talent that makes IFAS successful!

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for full-cycle recruiting, including determining staffing needs, screening candidates, and recommending placements using creative sourcing methods (both internal and external).
  • Screen resumes, prescreen candidates (by phone or via MS Teams), administer appropriate assessments, reference/background check.
  • Generate and process offer letters on the approval of hiring manager, follow through acceptance.
  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, social networks, etc.
  • Manage internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc.
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations including Affirmative Action Plan compliance.
  • Manage current candidate activity.
  • Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills Desired

  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
  • Excellent written/oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of current federal/state regulations related to employment (i.e. EEOC, ADA, etc.).
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office and internet search engines.
  • Ability to travel locally within a specific geographic area; limited travel outside of specific geographic area (occasional overnight travel may be necessary).
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Organizational skills are key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for finding the best talent.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Secret clearance a plus
