POSITION SUMMARY


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team at our Memphis manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment for all positions (hourly & salaried) This role is crucial in helping our organization attract, assess, and hire exceptional individuals who align with our company culture and values.



ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support the full recruitment cycle by posting positions, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, managing and conducting employment testing, managing the Background check process, pre-employment/post-offer drug tests, coordinating with hiring managers, and leading the offer process while providing excellent candidate and customer experience
  • Work with agencies and 3rd party vendors to support our attraction efforts
  • Provide guidance and full-service support to hiring managers as well as their teams
  • Maintain a strong flow of candidates through identified sources, social media channels, job boards, etc.
  • Leverage sourcing strategies to tap into passive candidate market
    • Pipelining talent for key areas in our business
    • Talent community management
  • Work with HR partners on best-in-class onboarding experience for new hires
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on recruiting metrics and KPIs
  • Organize initiatives to increase awareness of Company in local community
  • Maintain an awareness of emerging trends and best practices in recruitment, talent acquisition, and HR
  • Support additional recruiting efforts and participate in projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business
  • 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing recruitment (hourly & salaried), preferably in a unionized environment. Pulp & paper experience would be a plus!
  • Plan and organize your own work activities, manage work time efficiently, work independently
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws
  • Solid understanding of LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing methods
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System, CareerBuilder preferred
  • Strong knowledge of current recruitment trends & process
  • Ability to adhere to processes and operate with high attention to detail and accuracy are crucial
  • Focus on building strong relationships with candidates and colleagues
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization and written communication skills
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is an asset
