Job Description

Our client, a global media and tech company, is looking for a Copywriter with strong experience across digital platforms and web content development for a 1-year, remote contract position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of curating web content and writing for headlines, articles, videos and push notifications as well as support news coverage and assignments across a variety of platforms including desktop, mobile, and on social media platforms. Additionally, the Copywriter will support special projects associated with development of new stories, articles and events all while collaborating with editorial, product and other teams as needed.

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will curate web content.
• Write for headlines, articles, videos and push notifications as well as support news coverage and assignments across a variety of platforms including desktop, mobile, and on social media platforms.
• The Copywriter will support special projects associated with development of new stories, articles and events all while collaborating with editorial, product and other teams as needed.
• Adhere to brand strategy, guidelines and tone of voice as defined in strategic documents, playbooks, and style guides.
• Create and maintain editorial content, articles, landing pages, social media, and other communications.
• Build content in custom content management systems.
• Develop, manage, and maintain close relationships with internal cross-functional team including Marketing, Brand, Legal departments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of copywriting experience, with a focus on digital platforms such as desktop, mobile, and social media.
• Experience developing web content.
• Experience writing for headlines, articles, videos, push notifications, articles, news stories, events, and social media.
• Exceptional writing, copy editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of copywriting work across digital and email platforms.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work Ad-Hoc, part time.
