Job Details

Responsibilities include all facets of trust and estate administration, including communicating with clients and their family members, accountants and financial advisors. Responsibility would also include, preparing and filing all Surrogate’s Court pleadings; gathering assets in a decedent’s estate; assist in valuing decedent’s assets as of the date of death; preparation of the estate tax returns and Form 8971; assist in the distribution of the estate including the preparation of assignments, deeds.

Candidates should possess 3+ years of trust & estate paralegal experience along with a bachelor’s degree and a paralegal certificate or equivalent.
