About the Role
The Company is seeking an Immunology Clinical Japan Head to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading clinical program activities, collaborating with both local and global teams, and playing a pivotal medical lead role in Japan-initiated studies. This leadership position involves the development and execution of clinical strategy, providing input to key documents, and engaging with external stakeholders and internal decision boards to lead clinical-related health authority activities. The role also requires contribution to the development of Immunology strategies, support for publication and clinical communication strategy, and serving as a subject matter expert for process improvement and training. Applicants for the Immunology Clinical Japan Head position at the company should hold an advanced degree in life sciences or a clinically relevant field, with a specialization in Immunology. A strong background in clinical research or drug development, particularly in Phases I through III/IV, and experience with health authority interactions and submissions are essential. The role demands a high level of proficiency in Japanese and business-level English, as well as advanced clinical training or knowledge in the medical or scientific area. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to their work, be adept at problem-solving, and have a deep understanding of GCP, GPSP, clinical trial design, statistics, and the regulatory or clinical development process.
