Job Description:

  • As the levels go up (Mgr. II, Manager III, Sr. Manager, the job description and minimum requirements stay the same but the level of related experience and management experience increases.

  • Oversees the people who lead internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery.

  • Manages and prioritizes the project stream, working with internal customers to determine project definition and business requirements.

  • Provides budget analysis, resource allocation and coordination of project activities that may be across functional areas within the organization.

  • Assigns and monitors work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time and within budget.

  • Monitors reliability and any internal issues that appear as a result of the project.

  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

  • Performs all required management responsibilities including but not limited to: implementing the company's policies, programs, and guidelines; ensuring employee productivity and growth; managing resources; knowing Varian's business; and maintaining functional, technical, and external market awareness necessary for managing immediate organization.

Required Certifications and Training:

  • Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.

Experience Level with Business Tools:

  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Scope:

  • Directs subordinates to complete assignments.

Job Complexity:

  • Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.

  • Monitors daily operations of a unit.

  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion to resolve complex business problems.

  • Requires full knowledge of functional responsibility.

Impact of Decisions and Accuracy:

  • Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules.

Interaction:

  • Interacts daily with subordinates and/or functional peer groups.

Supervision:

  • Provides immediate supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work and frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules.

  • A portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the unit.

  • Generally supervises semi-skilled employees.

Typical Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent 3 years of related experience

  • Typically no prior management experience.

  • If the candidate has PMP certification a plus

  • PMP preferred,

  • Must be proficient with MS Office: Outlook, Excel.

  • If they have Monday.com experience a plus.

  • Team Coordination touch base with stakeholders for progress plans, challenges. Maintaining regular updates to stakeholders, milestones and any deliverables.

  • A lot of meetings, emails, and communications.

  • PM Planning and scheduling: develop and adjust project plans, timelines, resource to keep project on track.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies

  • The project is Call center system applications, if they experience with genesys system Contact Center Solution/Software a plus but not required.

  • Ability to navigate and respect cultural differences, especially when working with international teams outside of the client.

Global Collaboration:

  • Experience in collaborating with diverse teams across different time zones and geographical locations.

Time Management:

  • Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Effective Communication:

  • Proficiency in communicating clearly and professionally with high-level executives, such as Vice Presidents, ensuring that complex information is conveyed succinctly.
