Job Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Certified Medical Assistant to serve in our family practice at our Park Rapids Clinic. This RN, LPN or CMA works Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 32 hours per week with one weekday off. No on-call or holiday rotations are required. A rotation of two Saturday shifts every six months is required. This position qualifies for full time benefits.

An ideal candidate for this position would be someone who can multitask and functions well with a continuously changing workflow, as each day is not the same! We are seeking a team player who willing to help others and also brings a positive attitude! Good communication skills in person and on the phone are a must.

RN ($33.21, or more with experience):
Is a professional practicing in a multi-faceted domain of specialty nursing that focuses on health care of individuals, families, groups, communities and entire populations. Provides care that occurs in primary and specialty care outpatient facilities, non-acute community out -patient settings; during tele health nursing encounters that occur in medical offices or by individual nurses in the home or business. Have authority, accountability and responsibility for nursing practice; makes decisions; and takes action consistent with the obligation to promote health and to provide optimal care recognizing that health is a universal right. Interacts with patients in concert with other health professionals, skillfully uses the nursing process to assess primary concerns, identify problems, analyze and integrate subjective and objective data, decide on a plan of action, apply the appropriate intervention and evaluate the outcome.

LPN or CMA ($19.55, or more with experience):
Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

  • RN/LPN: Current licensure with the Minnesota state board of nursing.
  • CMA: current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. (Must pass certification within two attempts)
  • ALL: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.
