Hiring multiple candidates, Easy Apply, Full Time Job Description We are seeking dedicated full-time paraprofessionals to join our team in supporting K-12 special education students across the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area. In this role, you will partner closely with licensed teachers to create an inclusive and supportive environment tailored to each student’s unique needs. Working with students in either a one-to-one setting or small groups, you’ll assist with academic modifications, self-care, and social/behavioral support. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children’s lives, fostering their growth and confidence. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18 - $23 , paid weekly, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule (7:30 am to 3:00/4:30 pm) and no weekend work. Responsibilities Collaborate with licensed staff to create a supportive classroom environment Work with students to achieve their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals Provide individual or small-group support during activities and assignments Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment conducive to learning Offer crisis support when necessary to promote student wellbeing Use a variety of learning methods to adapt to student needs and enhance engagement Benefits Weekly pay Paid sick leave 401K (with eligibility criteria) One year of paraprofessional training provided Minimum Requirements : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or higher OR high school diploma/GED and passing score on Parapro/Paraeducator exam (ETS, Master Teacher, or other). 1-year experience working with children in any structured setting (school, daycare, volunteer program, etc.). Professional proficiency in English. US Work Authorization (no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance). Preferred Qualifications : ParaPro Certification (with Zen Educate offering support for certification where needed). Experience in special education settings or familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Any experience as a Behavioral Technician or PCA is a plus but not required. Why Zen?
