No matter your age or skill level, we reassure you at every step with our multidisciplinary team of board-certified and fellowship-trained sports medicine physicians. We offer expert services for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of all sports-related injuries. We focus on helping you reach your health and fitness goals, but also reach your peak athletic performance.

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body.

* Positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking x-rays, following established procedures. Follows prescribed safety standards in operating radiologic equipment.

* Examines radiologic film for properties such as density and contrast, definition, magnification and distortion.

* Develops and processes radiologic film. Delivers film to requester for reading/interpretation.

* Maintains x-ray exam room. Stocks necessary medical and radiological supplies.

* Responsible for dissemination of x-ray reports and x-rays, maintaining a location log

* Schedules radiologic exams to be performed at outside labs, as necessary.

* Gathers and prepares x-rays with physician interpretation for radiologist over read.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

* Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

* Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

* Certified in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

* Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY THE STATE OF GEORGIA

* Registered Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
